Job summary

Torus Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This role supports users across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations, handling troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of internal systems.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in IT Helpdesk, strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and collaboration tools. The position is Oregon-based with remote work, occasional travel to Utah, and a salaried full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience.
1+ years IT Helpdesk experience.
Hands-on with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, Office 365/Google Workspace.
Experience with Jira ITSM and Slack.
Strong troubleshooting for hardware, software, networks.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for IT issues via email, Slack or tickets.
Maintain all aspects of network systems including software, hardware and support.
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for knowledge transfer.
Manage setup, configuration, and deployment of platforms across the organization.
Administer user access and security within systems.
Respond to performance issues and outages.
Update system documentation affecting multiple teams.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
