Job summary

ProTech IT Solutions, LLC in Torrington, CT is seeking a System Administrator (Level 1 Support Engineer) to join our fast-growing MSP. You will provide remote and on-site support, monitor systems, and assist with Office 365 and basic network tasks to keep client environments healthy.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years IT support experience, a solid grasp of Windows Server and Windows 10, and basic networking.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years IT support experience or internship.
• Basic familiarity with Windows Server and Windows 10.
• Foundational networking knowledge and troubleshooting mindset.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients.
• Monitor client systems to flag potential issues.
• Assist with Office 365 administration and basic email config.
• Support basic TCP/IP networking under senior staff guidance.
• Use ConnectWise for ticketing and monitoring; document procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 engineers in a timely manner.
