Job summary

SHI is seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join the Modern Workplace Services team. You will receive service requests, create tickets in SHI’s system, and dispatch work orders to Field Service Technicians for IT and POS hardware repairs.

This is a remote, work-from-home role supporting a 24/7 operation and requires clear communication via phone, Teams, and email. You will monitor assignments, adjust schedules, and ensure complete customer information is captured to enable successful dispatch.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in dispatcher or call center/help desk environments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests from customers and create tickets for assignments to Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers via phone, Teams, and email.
• Monitor and oversee call assignments to ensure proper dispatch and acceptance by technicians.
• Update technician schedules and maintain accuracy of dispatch information.
• Close out service requests with complete customer details for successful dispatch.
