Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager - IT & Security based in the United States. You will lead a small team handling internal IT, security, and compliance across a fully remote organization, shaping security posture, policies, and technical controls.

The role partners with engineering, HR, Recruiting, Finance and Operations; you will drive secure coding practices, cloud security, audits (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2), risk management, and automation to scale the function as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years IT and security experience, including at least 1 year managing people.
• Experience developing security guidelines, policies, and processes across teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices, standards, frameworks, and risk management.
• Experience with audits or certifications such as ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop IT and security team with clear direction, coaching and career development.
• Own internal IT and security operations including user support, device mgmt, and security processes.
• Guide audits and certifications while maintaining security governance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage security questionnaires and compliance requests.
• Develop and champion security projects, policies, and technical guidelines.
