Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Lead Security Engineer - Managed Services in the United States. This senior role provides technical leadership across managed services platforms, cloud environments, and identity systems, embedding secure-by-design practices and driving DevSecOps initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, influence IAM and Zero Trust programs, and partner with Architecture, Product, and Operations to strengthen security across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure security, or a related discipline.
• Deep hands-on expertise securing enterprise-scale hybrid and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, privileged access management, endpoint protection, network security, cloud security, Zero Trust.
• Experience with DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, and security automation using Python/PowerShell.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls across platforms.
• Serve as a senior technical authority for security architecture and incident response.
• Drive IAM capabilities including authentication, authorization, and least-privilege.
• Establish security standards and controls aligned with PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security throughout the lifecycle.
• Translate security requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor security and engineering professionals and promote best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and threats to strengthen security posture.
• Support security perspectives in platform engineering, cloud transformation, and automation.
