Job summary

Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner, seeks a Senior Manager, Security Engineering based in the United States. You will shape the security engineering function across a cloud-native environment, leading multiple teams and managers while setting the technical vision and operating model for scalable security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple engineering teams and developing managers.
• Strong background in security platforms and technical architecture.
• Ability to influence technology strategy across large organizations.
• Proven coding, system integration, and automation skills.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern security platforms.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Security Engineering teams through managers, team leads, and individual contributors.
• Define and execute multi-year Security Engineering strategies and roadmaps.
• Provide strategic oversight of enterprise security platforms supporting identity, cloud, application, endpoint, data protection, and security operations.
• Guide security architecture, platform integrations, technical standards, and engineering practices.
• Champion automation and engineering-driven security controls that enable security at scale.
• Lead technology evaluations, vendor relationships, and build-versus-buy assessments.
• Direct complex, large-scale initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Establish operational practices, KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure security capabilities support regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
• Communicate security strategy, risk, progress, and investment needs to leadership.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
