Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an IT Procurement Lead to shape sourcing and supplier strategies for enterprise technology products and services.

You will lead multi-year category plans, manage software and tech-enabled services negotiations, and align IT investments with business priorities, risk controls, and long-term value. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and other stakeholders to drive measurable cost optimization, supplier performance, and contract lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technology, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Eight+ years of progressive IT procurement, sourcing, category management, or supplier management experience.
Experience negotiating healthcare technology solutions or complex regulated tech.
Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, vendor evaluation, and contract management.
Ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute multi-year category strategies and sourcing pipelines.
Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives from requirements to implementation.
Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, data, and tech-enabled services agreements.
Advise senior leaders on market dynamics, supplier options, and risk.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, and Enterprise Architecture.
