Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join our client's team in a remote, contract role. The candidate will support Windows Server environments, WSUS patching, Active Directory, VMware vCenter, and SolarWinds monitoring.

Responsibilities include maintaining server health, applying security updates, performing vulnerability remediation, verifying backups with Rubrik, and communicating issues clearly with business owners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with system administration, patching, server management, and circuit monitoring.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including configuration, maintenance, and support.
• Experience managing server patches with WSUS in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to perform vulnerability remediation, including registry edits.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VMware vCenter for VM management.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting via SolarWinds.
