Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to manage and support enterprise Windows infrastructure. The role focuses on high availability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems and critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Manage and support Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
• Perform user account management, access control, and security administration.
• Administer Exchange or Microsoft 365 (preferred).
• Monitor server health, system performance, and storage utilization.
• Configure and manage file servers, print servers, and DFS.
• Perform Windows patch management using WSUS, SCCM, or MECM.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, server, network, and application issues.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam, Commvault, or similar tools.
• Support certificate management, IIS web servers, and PowerShell automation.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and harden Windows servers.
• Maintain documentation for server configurations, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and resolve production incidents within SLA.
