Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an IT Program Director to lead transaction-level business process and systems strategy across acquisitions and divestitures. You will shape end-to-end value streams, drive integration roadmaps, and coordinate across IT Value Streams, enterprise architecture, and business leaders to deliver value.

The role emphasizes global collaboration, standards alignment, and a focus on post-close optimization while enabling a remote work option within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
• 7+ years of managerial experience.
• Significant experience leading business systems or technology strategy for acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, or other complex business transactions.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA; adjacent apps, data, integrations, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Define transaction-level business process and systems strategy across acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, and divestitures; end-to-end value streams (Lead to Order, etc.).
• Translate diligence findings into integration roadmaps, dependencies, risks, costs, and decisions.
• Map end-to-end processes, data, integrations, and handoffs across multiple domains.
• Drive decisions on process standardization, platform adoption, and migration approaches.
• Coordinate Integration Leads, IT Value Streams, and business partners to align on Medtronic standards.
