Job summary

Medtronic seeks an IT Program Director to guide merger-and-acquisition business process and systems strategy from due diligence through Day 1 readiness. You will lead cross-functional teams across IT and business partners, shaping end-to-end value streams and ensuring alignment with Medtronic standards.

You will translate diligence findings into actionable roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive standardized processes across Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and more.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading business systems or technology strategy for acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, or other complex transactions.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, plus adjacent applications, data, integrations, controls, and processes; not a SAP functional delivery role.
• Ability to connect end-to-end business processes and value streams across multiple domains to applications and operating models.
• Experience driving portfolio rationalization, process harmonization, target-state planning, or transition decisions across domains.
• Experience leading strategic programs with matrixed teams and external partners; accountable for decisions, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders through clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define the transaction-level business processes and systems strategy for acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, and divestitures across multiple value streams.
• Translate diligence findings into integration roadmaps, dependencies, risks, costs, and decision requirements.
• Map end-to-end processes, data, integrations, and handoffs across major domains to enable seamless integration or separation.
• Drive timely decisions on standardization, application retention, migration, and platform adoption.
• Define target and interim-state approaches balancing speed, cost, risk, and enterprise standards.
• Facilitate alignment across IT Value Streams, Enterprise Architecture, business leaders, and external partners.
