Job summary

GT Global Services is seeking a remote IT support specialist to provide installation assistance, issue troubleshooting, and data analysis across the US. You will collaborate with cross-functional operations teams to ensure smooth deployments of devices and IoT sensors.

You'll handle remote troubleshooting for device installations, power and network setup, and support tickets while maintaining documentation and contributing to a knowledge base.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of networking and infrastructure experience.
• Networking certification required (e.g., CCNA or equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira Service Management).
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Hands-on IoT development and prototyping experience.
• Well-versed in Microsoft applications and Dynamics 365 app support.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote assistance during device installations and maintenance.
• Serve as first responder for installation, power, network, and setup issues.
• Respond to and resolve support tickets within established SLAs.
• Perform sensor calibration using proprietary tools to ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze collected data and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft applications and Dynamics 365 (D365) for end users.
• Provide basic OS support (Windows/macOS) and remote desktop troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation and calibration activities, contributing to a comprehensive knowledge base.
