Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote IT Internship for current college students in HRIS/IT, running May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in IT operations, configuration, and support within a healthcare environment.

You must be enrolled as an incoming junior or senior and have a minimum 2.5 GPA; no prior experience required. Strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel skills are valued as you work with the IT and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as Incoming Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic IT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Research and troubleshoot unusual IT issues or bugs.
• Support IT team in hardware, software and system maintenance.
• Assist with deployment of desktops, servers or applications and run updates.
• Help document procedures and monitor KPI targets for service delivery.
