Job summary

Mechdyne Corporation is seeking a Temporary Level 1 IT Help Desk Agent to support a mid-day shift on a remote, October–December contract with potential conversion to full-time. You will be the first point of contact for users and help resolve IT issues with a focus on customer service.

The role involves handling basic hardware/software problems, documenting incidents, and escalating complex issues as needed to maintain service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous help desk or customer support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
