Job summary

Community Care of North Carolina seeks a Senior IT GRC Advisor to lead enterprise governance, risk, and compliance efforts. You will partner with IT leadership on risk assessments, controls, and audit readiness across infrastructure, cloud, and vendor ecosystems.

You will develop policies, metrics, and reporting, collaborate with security, privacy, legal, and internal audit, and advise on large IT projects to ensure strong governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in IT audit, risk management, or GRC leadership.
• Experience with third‑party risk, SOC reports, penetration tests, and HITRUST.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT GRC program governance, risk, and controls across infrastructure, cloud, and vendors.
• Assess control design and effectiveness, provide risk-based recommendations to leadership.
• Plan and execute IT risk assessments, audits, and advisory engagements.
• Maintain IT risk register, issue management, and remediation tracking.
• Develop GRC metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders.
• Embed risk and governance requirements in large projects and third‑party programs.
• Conduct cloud and SaaS compliance assessments (AWS/Azure), focusing on shared responsibility.
• Evaluate IAM controls, access governance, and provisioning processes.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory reviews with evidence collection.
