Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Sr Manager in Technology Business Management to lead IT financial planning, contract governance, and portfolio economics for a nationwide ambulatory surgery center network. This hands-on leadership role partners with Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal to deliver measurable value and transparent technology spend.

The role emphasizes ROI, forecasting accuracy, and enterprise-wide cost optimization while supporting center-level needs in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• :Demonstrated hands-on experience in both enterprise IT budgeting and forecasting and technology contract and vendor management.
• :Experience with complex SaaS, licensing, cloud, infrastructure, consulting, or managed-service agreements.
• :Strong financial modeling, commercial analysis, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• :Advanced analysis and financial reporting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT inputs to annual operating and capital planning, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, accrual support, and executive reporting.
• Maintain IT cost dashboards, provide ROI/TCO analyses, and support cost-optimization initiatives.
• Manage IT contract inventory, renewal calendar, and licensing analyses in partnership with Supply Chain and Legal.
• Support IT vendor governance, performance reviews, and risk management across centers.
• Advise CIO and leaders on financial tradeoffs and technology investments.
