Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Sr Manager, Technology Business Management to lead IT financial management, contract oversight, and vendor governance from a remote/USA base. The role partners with Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal to ensure measurable value from technology investments and transparent financial commitments across the enterprise.

As a hands-on leader, you will oversee forecasting, ROI analysis, licensing strategies, and IT spend dashboards, enabling informed decisions for AMSURG’s hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, IT, supply chain, or related field.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in IT finance, technology contracting, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• IT Financial Planning and Management: Coordinate IT inputs to annual planning, forecasts, variance analysis, accrual support, and exec reporting with Finance.
• Technology Contract Management: Maintain IT contract inventory, renewal calendar, and oversight processes; support negotiations and renewal decisions.
• Vendor Management: Establish vendor segmentation, governance, scorecards, and reviews; track service performance and risks.
• Technology Value and Optimization: Analyze software usage, subscriptions, cloud services; quantify cost savings and optimization.
• Portfolio, Acquisition, and Governance Support: Support IT portfolio decisions and financial prioritization; advise on risks and opportunities.
