Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Senior Communications Program Specialist to support FAA IT communications, translating complex concepts into clear messaging for executives and stakeholders.

You will develop campaigns, executive-ready content, and rollout materials while navigating FAA review processes. The role requires 10+ years in IT communications within government or corporate settings, strong writing skills, and proven governance coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• 10+ years IT communications experience in government or corporate settings.
• Executive-level writing experience, including briefs and talking points.
• Experience coordinating through governance and public affairs offices.
• Translate technical IT concepts for nontechnical audiences.
• Strong project management and deadline-driven delivery.
• Proficiency in digital communications and web content management.

Responsibilities

• Independently gather requirements from government stakeholders and translate them into actionable strategies and plans.
• Develop executive-ready communications, including BLUFs, summaries, briefings, talking points, FAQs, and emails.
• Plan and execute communications for IT maintenance, pilots, feature releases, and adoption initiatives.
• Create communications plans, messaging frameworks, channel strategies, and content calendars.
• Develop content for FAA digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and branding compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and design resources to integrate approved visuals.
• Track suspense dates, reviews, approvals, publication status, and provide updates.
