Job summary

TPx is seeking a Change & Release Manager to govern enterprise change enablement and release management, ensuring compliant, stable delivery of technology services. The role partners with engineering, operations, QA, security, and business stakeholders to minimize disruption while enabling timely production outcomes.

Responsibilities include defining policies, approving changes, leading CAB meetings, and driving continuous improvement across change and release practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification preferred.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and release automation.
• Experience in regulated environments (SOX) preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and cloud infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern enterprise Change Enablement per ITIL.
• Define policies, risk classification, and approval processes.
• Review/authorize normal, expedited, and emergency changes.
• Ensure SOX/audit controls and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain segregation of duties and audit readiness.
• Chair Change Advisory Board meetings for risk-based decisions.
• Lead post-implementation reviews and improve release stability.
• Own release planning and cross-team coordination.
• Establish release calendars, windows, and blackout periods.
• Coordinate across engineering, QA, operations, security, and business.
• Ensure validated testing, rollback plans, and production readiness.
• Govern release communications and stakeholder visibility.
• Oversee CI/CD integration and automation maturity.
• Ensure successful production deployments with minimal disruption.
• Define, monitor, and report KPIs like MTTR and release velocity.
• Provide leadership with reporting and insights on change/release.
