Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a remote (within 50 miles of Hayward, CA) IT Asset & Device Lifecycle Coordinator to support end user device lifecycle operations. You will coordinate repair, manage inventory, and oversee distribution to fulfill user requests while aligning with enterprise standards and compliance.

The role partners with IT, vendors, and logistics teams, documenting workflows and performing asset tracking. Some travel may be required for on-site activities and audits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in IT, supply chain, or related field.
• 2+ years in IT asset management, device lifecycle operations, or logistics.
• Familiarity with repair processes, warranty management, and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and asset tracking.
• Understanding IT governance, compliance, and lifecycle standards.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools is preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate device repair activities including vendor warranty claims.
• Manage inventory of end user devices, peripherals, and parts.
• Oversee device distribution to fulfill user requests timely.
• Collaborate with IT support and logistics to align services with standards.
• Document repair workflows, distribution activities, and asset tracking.
• Support compliance reviews, audits, and lifecycle reporting.
• Provide guidance to Business partners and contract personnel on standards.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 Support or engineering teams.
• Perform other duties; comply with laws and company policies.
