Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a remote IT Asset & Device Lifecycle Coordinator located within 50 miles of Richland, MS. You will coordinate repair processes, manage inventory, and distribute equipment to end users while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities include vendor coordination, ServiceNow familiarity, and collaboration with IT and logistics partners to maintain reliable device availability and accurate asset tracking.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in information technology, supply chain, business administration, and/or related field.
• Two years of experience in IT asset management, device lifecycle operations, or logistics.
• Familiarity with repair processes, warranty management, and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and asset tracking practices.
• Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and lifecycle management standards.
• Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift/carry IT equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate device repair activities including vendor warranty claims.
• Manage inventory of end user devices, peripherals, and parts.
• Oversee device distribution to fulfill user requests timely.
• Collaborate with IT and logistics to align services with standards.
• Document repair workflows, asset tracking, and distribution.
• Support compliance reviews and lifecycle reporting.
• Provide technical support to business partners and contractors.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Support Services Level 2/engineering.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies.
