Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking IT/Application Analysts for 100% remote roles across multiple states. The team supports IS applications, provides 24x7 on-call coverage and collaborates with clinical and operational stakeholders. Certification in Epic Willow and pharmacy knowledge are highly valued, with certification within 6 months of hire.

Flexible schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in IT or healthcare ops, strong MS Office skills, and willingness to engage with

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in IT or healthcare operations related field; coursework or internships acceptable.
• Healthcare business or clinical experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint.
• IT certifications (e.g., Epic) may be required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of customer workflow and application software architecture to build and maintain components.
• Provide day-to-day support of IT applications including error management, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Build new technical functionality and maintain IT applications with guidance from a Senior/Lead Analyst or Manager.
• Monitor capacity and take corrective actions to minimize system interruptions.
• Manage scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades; fix defects and manage work queues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Virtua clients.
• Ensure changes follow change management procedures.
• Assist with projects/upgrades per project management standards.
• Act as a support resource to other IT staff during builds, configurations and testing.
• Coordinate with vendors/IT partners for on-going service and issue resolution.
