Job summary
Michigan State University (MSU) ANR IT Technology Services seeks a Junior Analyst to join the front-line IT team in East Lansing. You will work with faculty and staff, providing hands-on and remote support to ensure reliable services and secure access.
In this role you will manage assets, assist with design of technology deployments, and coordinate escalations while collaborating with campus IT teams to advance MSU’s mission in education, research, and engagement.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent with 1–3 years IT desk/Service Desk experience.
- Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android in an enterprise setting.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and identity/access concepts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and procure tech assets.
- Manage hardware/software assets through their lifecycle.
- Provide hands-on and remote workstation and software support.
- Administer employee accounts and access permissions.
