Job summary

Arcesium is seeking a talented attorney with intellectual property and technology transactions experience to join its Legal & Compliance team. The role centers on IP matters, licensing, and negotiating customer and vendor agreements, with possible exposure to corporate and employment issues.

This position can be remote within the United States. You will advise on IP topics including open-source and generative AI, review due diligence, and support outside counsel and internal clients on complex

Qualifications

• A law degree with an impressive academic record and 3-5 years of in-house or law firm experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating licensing, technology, and other commercial contracts for customers and vendors.
• Open-source software and/or generative AI experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent analytical abilities, judgment, attention to detail, drafting, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements.
• Handle technology, purchase, service, and consulting agreements.
• Review RFPs and DDQs as primary representative of the Legal team.
• Serve as internal contact for outside counsel handling NDAs.
• Advise business teams on IP matters and other legal issues, including AI topics.
• Support general corporate, employment, and litigation matters as needed.
