Job summary

Arcesium seeks a talented attorney with an intellectual property and technology transactions background to join its Legal & Compliance team. This role, the second attorney in the U.S.

group, can be based remotely within the United States and focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for customers and vendors while advising on IP matters, including generative AI issues. The position requires 3–5 years of in-house or law firm experience, a JD, and strong drafting and communication

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3–5 years of in-house or law firm experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating licensing, technology, and other commercial contracts.
• Advising clients on intellectual property issues and contract interpretation.
• Open-source/IP/AI experience is a plus; strong prioritization and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements.
• Handle technology, purchase, service, and consulting agreements.
• Review RFPs and DDQs as primary Legal representative.
• Serve as internal point of contact for outside counsel handling NDAs.
• Advise business teams on IP matters and AI-related issues.
• Support general corporate, employment, and litigation matters as needed.
