Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a Docketing Specialist for The Hub, our remote-first group. This role allows remote work with quarterly meetings at a Fish office, and requires you to review USPTO and foreign patent documents and manage large volumes with high accuracy.

You will monitor deadlines, ensure proper updates in the docketing system, and perform quality auditing of matters. 3+ years IP docketing and FoundationIP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years US and/or Foreign IP patent docketing experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patent docketing processes.
• Ability to identify issues and proactively solve them.
• Professional conduct, service-oriented attitude, and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and circumstances.
• Remote-first role with quarterly office meetings.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and process USPTO and foreign patent documents and client-related correspondence in the firm’s docketing system according to procedures.
• Process intake and docketing of large volumes of documents with high accuracy and within daily productivity goals.
• Monitor daily docket of deadlines and ensure deadlines are met, with the system properly updated.
• Provide auditing service for matters and docketed actions to ensure quality control of client data.
