Job summary

Fish & Richardson, the premier global intellectual property law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist for The Hub, our remote-first group. You will review legal documents, calculate deadlines, and enter them into Milana, supporting litigation teams and ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines.

Successful candidates bring 5+ years of docketing experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ docketing experience in federal, state, and agency jurisdictions.
• Experience with Milana is preferred.
• Knowledge of litigation docketing processes in a law firm.
• Ability to work Pacific time 8:30-5:30.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently review legal documents and litigation correspondence to calculate and disseminate docket dates.
• Enter deadlines for firm matters into Milana.
• Provide proactive support to litigation teams and coordinate with docketing attorneys.
• Quality review own work and escalate questions to managers.
• Assist with inter-department training on court rules.
• Respond to inquiries from litigation teams about docketed events and deadlines.
• Prepare and distribute regular docket reports.
• Assist with research on court rules for jurisdictions.
• Maintain and improve processes to enhance efficiency and minimize risk.
• Promote docketing procedures and ensure compliance.
