Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a Docketing Specialist for our Hub, a remote-first group. The role involves reviewing USPTO and foreign patent documents, processing intake and docketing with high accuracy, and monitoring deadlines to keep the docket current.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of US/foreign IP patent docketing experience, a strong understanding of patent workflows, and attention to detail. Some travel to a Fish office for quarterly meetings is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years US and/or Foreign IP patent docketing experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of docketing of patent processes.
• Ability to identify issues and problems and proactively work to solve them.
• Professional conduct, service-oriented attitude, and acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and process USPTO and foreign patent documents and client-related correspondence in the docketing system.
• Process intake and docketing of large volumes of documents with high accuracy and daily productivity goals.
• Monitor daily docket of deadlines and ensure deadlines are met and the system is updated.
• Provide auditing service for matters and docketed actions to ensure quality control of client data.
