Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a Docketing Specialist for its remote-first Practice Systems Department, The Hub.

The role supports review and processing of USPTO and foreign patent documents, maintaining intake and docketing accuracy, and ensuring deadlines are met with strong data quality. Candidates should have 3+ years of IP docketing experience and familiarity with patent processes; FoundationIP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years US and/or Foreign IP patent docketing experience is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of docketing of patent processes.
• Ability to identify issues and problems and proactively work to solve them.
• Professional conduct, service-oriented attitude, and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
• Experience using FoundationIP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process USPTO and foreign patent documents and client-related correspondence in the docketing system per procedures.
• Process intake and docketing of large volumes of documents with high accuracy and productivity.
• Monitor daily docket of deadlines and ensure timely updates.
• Provide auditing service for matters and docketed actions to ensure data quality.
