Job summary

24-MAG LLC is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel for a part-time, fully remote consulting role focused on technology transactions, contract drafting and negotiation to support AI training and evaluation initiatives.

Responsibilities include reviewing complex technology agreements, drafting and redlining, conducting simulated negotiations, and providing expert feedback to improve AI outputs. Requires a J.D., U.S. bar admission, and 3+ years in tech-counsel roles.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar admission.
• Minimum 3 years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
• Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs; drafting and redlining contracts.
• Ability to translate legal judgement into practical feedback for AI contract evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review technology and commercial agreements for risk and alignment with objectives.
• Draft and revise contractual language across realistic transaction scenarios.
• Conduct simulated negotiations and assess revisions and proposals.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI contract evaluation outputs.
• Develop objective grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Collaborate with product, research, and technical teams; communicate complex reasoning.
