Job summary

Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) seeks experienced IP Auditors for full-time or part-time, fully remote roles. Candidates should have DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding experience within a Level II Trauma Center or higher.

Active AHIMA or AAPC certification is required (CCS, RHIT, or RHIA). CDIP/CCDS preferred. This direct-hire W-2 position emphasizes quality audit findings and clear communication while staying US-based.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC certification is required.
• CCS, RHIT or RHIA certification is required.
• CDIP and/or CCDS certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of APR-DRG/DRG coding in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG and reimbursement rules.
