Job summary

Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking experienced DRG Validators to join our growing team. We offer full-time and part-time remote roles for qualified coding professionals with APR-DRG/DRG experience and inpatient auditing expertise.

Candidates must hold AHIMA or AAPC credential and reside in the United States; CDIP/CCDS preferred. We provide stable, direct-hire employment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for long-term career growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required.
• CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Must reside in the United States.
