Job summary

Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking experienced DRG Validators for full-time and part-time, fully remote roles. Candidates should have extensive DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding experience, and must reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required.
• CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient auditing experience in Level II Trauma Center or higher.
• Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines and MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment.
• Ability to identify coding opportunities and provide audit findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside in the United States.

Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking experienced Full-time and Part-time DRG Validators to join our growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding.

Position Requirements:

• Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
