Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a leading insurance and reinsurance organization to hire an Investment Operations Manager focused on remediation of aged items, OPR, and reconciliation gaps. The role can be done 100% remote, with oversight of a third-party service provider and coordination across investment accounting and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations, accounting, or reconciliations.
• Led large-scale remediation or process-improvement initiatives.
• Strong project and program management capabilities.
• Experience overseeing third-party providers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with complex portfolios including alternatives.
• Leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the remediation workstream for OPR across stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to a third-party service team.
• Assess current-state processes and develop remediation plans.
• Drive resolution of open payables/receivables, reconciliation breaks, cash items.
• Partner with accounting, operations, finance, and providers to resolve issues.
• Establish governance, reporting, escalation protocols.
• Track deliverables, raise risks, ensure timely execution.
• Improve processes and controls for a stronger operating model.
