Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Investment Accounting Manager for a remote consulting role. Lead the OPR clean workstream, provide direction to the EXL team, and drive remediation milestones in investment accounting or financial operations.

The position requires strong governance, project management, and stakeholder communication skills. Compensation is $85.00–$100.00 per hour (W2). Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required; CPA/CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OPR clean workstream as program manager with objectives, timelines, and metrics.
• Assess current-state processes, controls, and deliverables to identify failure points.
• Direct and coach the EXL team to improve execution quality, throughput, and accountability.
• Establish governance routines, status reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across accounting, operations, technology, and reporting teams.
• Track and report progress against milestones, escalate risks with mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and control frameworks.
