Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support project teams through planning, procurement, and material-readiness for transmission, substation, distribution, and communications projects. Position pays $33.00-$40.00 per hour with expected start date in January 2027.

The role emphasizes remote work from a home office, strong MS Excel and ERP skills, and coordination across multiple project managers while ensuring timely material delivery and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in project management support.
• 1-2 years’ experience in direct customer-facing and materials management role.
• Experience managing vendor communications, tracking supplier commitments, and resolving material delivery issues.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• Experience with ERP inventory management systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint, Visio)

Responsibilities

• Track electrical equipment and material order delivery dates by reviewing Supply Chain documentation, reports, and purchase orders.
• Serve as main point of contact with vendors and materials suppliers.
• Coordinate material readiness to site construction teams.
• Support upwards of 8 separate project managers with projects ranging in size from $250k to $20M.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOM) and compare them to Purchase Orders to verify accuracy.
• Verify and provide status updates of quotes and orders to project managers.
• Produce and delivery reports to assist Project Managers in material readiness meetings.
