Pan Atlantic Foundation in the United States is seeking an International Area Representative for the High School Exchange Program. This flexible, part-time, 1099 role supports connecting international students with welcoming host families, promoting cross-cultural understanding, and providing ongoing program support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for completing online documentation and applications.
• Prior experience in education, community outreach, or customer service is a plus.
• Familiarity with international education or cultural exchange programs.
• Experience working with schools or educational institutions.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities helpful but not necessary.

Responsabilités

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone calls or in-person visits
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports accurately in the online system
