Job summary

Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative for its High School Exchange Program. This entry-level, part-time, 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and remote work options to connect international students with welcoming host families and to support cross-cultural understanding.

The position focuses on recruiting host families, coordinating with schools, and guiding families through applications and orientations, with ongoing support throughout the student’s stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of exchange opportunities.
• Promote exchange programs through community outreach.
• Guide host families through the online application process.
• Conduct in-home interviews and verify references.
• Facilitate host family orientations before student arrival.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students.
• Document interactions and progress in the online system.
