Job summary

Salmon is building a Frontline Employees Database to run HR and operations for about 4,000 frontline staff. You will design, build, and own automation and data structures supporting hiring, leave, shifts, and integrated workflows with HR systems.

You’ll collaborate with HR, Operations, and People Partners to deliver MVPs and scale internal products using n8n, PostgreSQL, and Retool, with Python/JavaScript for custom logic, in a hybrid Manila-based setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with n8n, Make, or similar low-code automation tools.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to query relational databases.
• Experience with Retool or comparable internal app builders.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for scripting.
• Understanding of REST APIs and webhooks, plus testing basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n.
• Develop PostgreSQL data structures for internal solutions.
• Build internal apps and forms in Retool.
• Integrate HR systems via REST APIs and webhooks.
• Test, document, and support existing tools; ~20% support.
• Grow MVPs into reliable internal products.
