CrewAI is hiring our first HR Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, and policies that let CrewAI hire, pay, support, and grow its people well — without slowing anyone down.

This role will build clean, scalable HR infrastructure: the HRIS that is trusted, onboarding flows that feel great on day one, payroll and benefits processes that run smoothly, and compliance guardrails for fast, safe growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HR operations at fast-growing startups.
• Experience owning an HRIS and payroll/benefits administration.
• Solid knowledge of US employment law and multi-state compliance.
• Ability to design scalable HR processes and communicate clearly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR operations across a distributed, global workforce.
• Design onboarding and offboarding programs for a great first 30 days and a compliant exit.
• Maintain HR policies and employee handbook content that is clear and current.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as we scale.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll accuracy, benefits invoicing, and headcount reporting.
• Turn people data into signals and leadership-ready insights.
