Job summary

Action1 Corporation is seeking a Dev Manager to lead the engineering team responsible for integrations between our platform and external systems, including the Integrations Store. You will combine leadership with hands-on technical expertise to deliver secure, reliable integrations that fit customer workflows.

You will mentor engineers, drive delivery with practical estimates, and shape architecture while collaborating with Product Management to align priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineers and delivering production systems.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem-solving.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building and operating AWS services in production.
• Hands-on with designing and maintaining APIs/integrations with external systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems, data consistency, and failure recovery.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers with technical direction and feedback.
• Own delivery outcomes, provide estimates, and manage capacity and priorities.
• Delegate ownership and build leadership as the team grows.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define priorities and deliver integrations.
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of integrations (connectors, Integrations Store, data mapping, auth, monitoring).
• Guide technical decisions across solution design to production rollout with security focus.
• Establish reusable integration patterns and reliable retry/timeout behavior.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, validating, and deploying integrations.
• Improve integration reliability, performance, and observability; resolve production issues.
• Coordinate with other teams and partners to manage dependencies.
• Apply AI to integration development/testing/support with validation.
