Job summary

Diaconia is seeking a junior Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Scheduling Analyst to translate client objectives into workable project plans. You will work with task owners to understand the work, sequence activities, and maintain schedules under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on Microsoft Project, milestones, dependencies, and progress tracking, with potential federal project exposure and a Public Trust clearance path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, project management, operations, or related field.
• 0-2 years of project coordination or scheduling experience; internships ok.
• Hands-on Microsoft Project for creating and updating schedules with baselines and progress tracking.
• Ability to explain schedule logic and communicate with task owners using MS Office tools.
• US Citizenship as required by federal client.
• Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Microsoft Project schedules with WBS, durations, milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities.
• Meet with program and technical staff to develop planning assumptions and realistic completion dates.
• Enter actuals and changes; compare progress with schedule baseline.
• Identify missing dependencies, conflicting dates, and critical-path impacts; assist in recovery options.
• Support IMS templates and integration of portfolio schedules; prepare milestone summaries and look-ahead schedules.
• Assist IMS delivery within 30 days after contract award, with weekly updates and reporting inputs.
