Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking an Intake Therapist to serve as the first contact for potential clients, conducting thorough biopsychosocial assessments and guiding admissions to the appropriate level of care. You will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination and accurate documentation.

This remote, exempt role supports a virtual intake process with Massachusetts licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Valid MA licensure as LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or equivalent in Massachusetts.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various software programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and readiness for treatment.
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients with a welcoming, supportive approach.
• Determine the appropriate level of care aligned with clinical needs and goals.
• Communicate program expectations and next steps clearly to clients and families.
• Collaborate with the clinical team, sharing assessment findings for care planning.
• Identify barriers to engagement and work with clients and families to address concerns.
• Maintain compliant documentation of assessments, recommendations, and communications.
• Stay informed on best practices to improve admissions processes.
