Job summary

Guidelight Health Inc. is seeking an Intake Therapist to be the first contact for potential clients in a fully remote setting.

You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, determine the appropriate level of care, and support admissions with the clinical team. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field, and MA licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Requires master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Licensed or eligible for LICSW/LMHC/LMFT in Massachusetts.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and readiness for treatment.
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, creating a welcoming introduction to Guidelight Health.
• Determine the most appropriate level of care for each client in alignment with clinical needs.
• Communicate program expectations, treatment options, and next steps to clients and families.
• Collaborate with the clinical treatment team, providing assessment findings for care planning.
• Identify barriers to treatment engagement and work with clients and families to address concerns.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of assessments and communications.
• Stay informed on best practices in intake assessment and client engagement.
