Job summary

Guidelight Health, Inc. is hiring an Intake Therapist to assess new clients using biopsychosocial evaluations and guide them to the appropriate level of care. You will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth admissions and meaningful progress.

You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, communicating treatment options to families, and maintaining thorough, compliant documentation throughout the admissions process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, LMFT/LMHC/LICSW or related field.
• Current licensure in MA or eligibility to obtain licensure and supervise associates.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and within a clinical team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and readiness for treatment.
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, creating a welcoming and supportive introduction to Guidelight Health.
• Determine the most appropriate level of care for each client, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and treatment goals.
• Clearly and compassionately communicate program expectations, treatment options, and next steps to clients and their families.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical treatment team, providing detailed assessment findings to support individualized care planning.
• Identify potential barriers to treatment engagement and work with clients and families to address concerns.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all assessments, recommendations, and communications.
• Stay informed on best practices in intake assessment and client engagement to continuously enhance admissions process.
