Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking an Intake Therapist to join our virtual clinical team. You will conduct in-depth biopsychosocial assessments as the first contact for potential clients, guiding them to the appropriate level of care and coordinating admission with the treatment team.

Reporting to the Director of Central Intake, you will document findings accurately, communicate expectations to clients and families, and stay current on best practices in intake and client engagement to optimize the

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Active Licensure as LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or equivalent in MA.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and provide supervision to associates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and readiness for treatment.
• Serve as the first contact for potential clients, creating a welcoming introduction to Guidelight Health.
• Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate admissions with the clinical team.
• Communicate program expectations, treatment options, and next steps to clients and families.
• Collaborate with the clinical treatment team and provide assessment findings for care planning.
• Identify barriers to engagement and address concerns with clients and families.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of assessments and communications.
• Stay informed on best practices in intake and client engagement to improve admissions.
