South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking an Intake Case Manager to handle high-volume calls, conduct risk assessments, and create comprehensive intakes in CAPSS. You will provide service referrals and ensure accurate documentation to support child welfare objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work Tuesday to Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to social services or related field.
• Experience in child welfare or social services is preferred.
• Must possess valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Handle high-volume calls to assess risk of harm to children or vulnerable adults.
• Conduct phone interviews and create intake with accurate data entry into CAPSS.
• Use information to complete intake and make screening decisions.
• Provide referrals and service recommendations per DSS policy.
• Maintain phone coverage and support county-level offices as needed.
• Work holidays and on-call as required.
