The Juris Agency in San Jose, CA is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive new business for our Farmers Insurance agency. You will present insurance options, close sales, and build relationships with referral partners.

This role offers warm leads, uncapped commissions, and ongoing training with opportunities to grow into your own agency. A strong sales track record and a California Property & Casualty license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
• Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain within first 90 days)
• Proven track record in sales, customer service, or business development
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed new business production goals and agency objectives
• Prepare and present insurance quotes; deliver strong sales presentations and close sales opportunities
• Build and maintain professional relationships with referral partners (Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, and others)
• Educate clients on insurance options including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
• Accurately complete applications and documentation while following all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
• Use CRM (AgencyZoom) to track leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activity
• Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to build long-term client relationships
