Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Life & Health license is a plus.
• Previous insurance sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work toward sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service personal and commercial insurance products
• Develop new business through leads, referrals, networking
• Conduct insurance needs assessments and recommend coverage
• Prepare quotes and explain options, limits, deductibles, premiums
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Follow up with prospects to convert opportunities
• Cross-sell and identify additional coverage
• Maintain accurate client information in agency systems
• Meet or exceed sales and production goals
• Participate in local networking and community marketing
• Stay current on products and guidelines
• Maintain required licenses and continuing education
