Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an Agency Sales Advisor in California. Candidate will grow the business by connecting with prospects, understanding needs, and recommending insurance solutions. No prior insurance experience required, but sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service backgrounds are welcome.

You will work towards production goals, participate in coaching and training, and have opportunities to advance within the agency. Strong communication and persistence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for initiating conversations with prospects.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through agency-provided leads, referrals, outbound calls, and networking.
• Ask questions to understand customers’ needs and current coverage.
• Provide quotes and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business and other insurance solutions.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Build relationships that lead to long‑term customers and referrals.
• Cross‑sell coverage to help customers protect different areas of their lives.
• Work toward individual and agency production goals.
• Participate in ongoing coaching, sales training, and professional development.
